Taewon Lee
Undergraduate Fellow
So you have the title of research fellow here. What does it feel like to wear that coat in this environment?
“It feels great. It feels like I will fit into that coat better once I actually outline my independent project and get that set up, or have a more specific idea of what I want to do. But I’m very excited to have that opportunity and to wear that title.”
”I'm finding that my independent project is very similar to a lot of the math for my major, economics and population ecology, especially in optimal foraging theory. But I don't know the theory yet. I will need to learn that. Actually building up that kind of theoretical background is going to take work.”
What has been challenging this summer?
“I need to buy a hat. Going into the hoop house and hanging out in like 90 degree weather is not fun, but it's something that needs to be done. I like greenhouses in general, just not at 2 p.m.”
