Education

During the summer, pre-college and undergraduate students have the opportunity to engage in authentic research experiences with Tyson-based scientists. The Education team aims to round out these apprenticeships by facilitating additional professional development. The team covers a variety of topics during colloquium sessions that serve as training pieces and skill building opportunities, helping students prepare for and secure their next steps. By providing support, information, and interactive workshops, the team offers students a more holistic experience within a broader scientific research community.
