Evan Lundstrom’s article “Hot topic: Fire and biodiversity in the Missouri Ozarks” was recently published in The Ampersand and highlighted in The Record. As an undergraduate fellow with Suzanne Loui’s Science Communication team during summer 2021, Evan chose to research and write about how Tyson’s controlled burns are informing current research on forest biodiversity. He interviewed Dr. Jonathan Myers and members of the forest biodiversity team and spent time in the field with them as they worked.
