Undergraduate fellow publishes research on lone star ticks

Thomas Van Horn, senior at WashU and alum of SIFT, TERF, and the Tyson Undergraduate Fellows programs, published new research in the Journal of Medical Entomology about how landscape topography affects the abundance of host-seeking lone star ticks in the Tyson ForestGEO plot. Co-authors from the Tyson community include Kim Medley, Solny Adalsteinsson, Katie Westby, Beth Biro, Jonathan Myers, Marko Spasojevic, and Maranda Walton. Check out the publication here.
