Oomycota as a driving force of plant-soil feedbacks in forest systems

Plant-soil feedbacks, i.e. interactions among plants and their soil-borne microbes, have been shown to influence species abundances and species diversity. We perform manipulative experiments to better understand which specific soil microbial organisms are the key drivers of plant-soil feedbacks.
